The Farm

​Farming Practices
We strive to manage the farm with a holistic perspective.  We consider the land we are actively using in our management decisions, as well as the surrounding land, that is home to many species of wildlife.


We do not spray any herbicides or pesticides in order to protect the health of our members, farmers, neighbors, waterways and wildlife. We occasionally spread lime on the field to maintain a vegetable friendly pH in our soils, and rely on compost, happily grazing animals and cover crops for fertility.
